Lamesa ISD will wear maroon on Tuesday to show our support for Uvalde CISD on their first day of school. We will also wear purple and gold on Thursday to show our support to Dalhart CISD and the family of Yahir Cancino! Our prayers and support go out to both school districts and communities!
Great things are happening at Lamesa High School! Coach Doederlein’s and Ms. Spencer’s Engineering & Honors Physics classes started the year off with a spaghetti tower challenge. All students worked hard and we are already seeing so much creative ingenuity from these teams.

"It's Book Fair Time! This year, say hello to the E-Wallet! E-Wallet is to empower students to choose their own books and check out with their very own digital payment account. Book Fair e-wallet can be used at the Fair or online. And any left over funds can be saved for future Fairs! Win-win!"
Times are tough, and some parents may not be able to afford to give their kids money for the Book Fair, so North Elementary as a campus has also set up a school E-wallet for anyone in our community to donate to kids who may not have money. This way no child is left out, and will be able to walk out of the Book Fair with a book in their hand, and a smile on their face. I have provided the link below for the North Elementary E-Wallet.
